One common myth is, "Oh, they'll figure it out on their own, they're still young." This is completely wrong. Children in the Golden Age don't learn on their own, but rather through direct stimulation through interaction. If parents are reluctant to talk to them, reluctant to read them stories, or rarely hug them, they're missing out on a crucial phase that can't be repeated.

It's not just mothers; fathers also play a significant role. Bronfenbrenner's Ecological Systems Theory states that the immediate environment, namely the family, is the greatest influence on a child's development. A father's presence has been shown to increase a child's self-confidence and emotional stability. Elle herself feels the importance of a partner's support. "Parenting can't be done alone," she said.

So, what activities can be done daily to optimize a child's Golden Age?

  • Chat regularly, even if it's just about toys or the weather.

  • Read a story every night, even if it's just for five minutes.

  • Invite children to get to know their surroundings: “That’s a bird, it’s blue.”

  • Play together without gadgets: peek-a-boo, puzzles, or an afternoon walk.

  • Give praise when your child tries something new.

According to Elle, what matters most isn't expensive stimulation, but complete presence and simple consistency. In fact, allowing children to be bored is part of their learning to imagine and discover their own world.
